Prices really vary greatly. It all depends on the package: projector, screen, motion sensors and software. I bought a mid-range option for $5,000 and I am happy. It works reliably and has more than enough functionality. I recommend deciding right away what exactly you need: training your equipment or just entertainment. It is easier not to overpay.

I had the same question about the budget. I considered different brands, but then I realized that cheaper means compromising on accuracy. In the end, I settled on the golf launch monitor from Foresight Sports. I read a lot on different forums that this brand makes the most reliable launch monitors in the world. I have GCQuad, and it works perfectly: no glitches, a full set of data, plus excellent FSX Play software. It's better to pay a little more and get something that will really work for many years.
