I recently read about coaches who help sell a business for more, and I’m thinking: if I don’t want to sell yet, but just increase sales, does it make sense to go to such a coach or does it not work?

I also thought that coaches like that were for companies worth millions. But I went to the Sales Leadership Academy when my furniture sales business was still in its early stages. I had regular customers, but I lacked a systematic approach. The course included a module on sales culture and working with ineffective employees. After that, I realized that my mistake was that I was holding the team back. Due to my inexperience, I didn't know how to set clear goals and ask people for results. So, the sales leadership certification I received was very useful to me. My mentor showed me how to conduct sales meetings properly and how to instill responsibility. This yielded results, and our sales grew by 35%, and the business became manageable. Thanks to the training I received, I now know that if I ever decide to sell the company, it will be worth more because all the processes are in place.
